on the stylethread forum, we have a section called "thread style" where members can post what they're wearing. Some posters pique my interest regularly (keep in mind these girls are coast to coast): http://www.activeboard.com/forum.spark?forumID=44784&subForumID=123752&action=viewSubForum

I will work on posting shots directly in the future - no time today!

My bio as posted on stylethread.com:

Obsessed with all things aesthetic from an early age, Kris Bauer was led by her love of the visual to expand her design horizons into many different areas. From an honorary award in clothing design in high school, an Associates degree in architecture & graphic design, to a B.F.A. from the University of Michigan in Industrial Design, Kris focused on creativity as a career. But sometimes an intended path reaches a fork in the road. Taking a right turn into the account side of advertising and marketing allowed her to not only be involved in creative conceptual thinking, but the business side of creativity as well. Kris has worked on projects for many highly visible clients including GM, DaimlerChrysler, Kmart, and A&P, and has provided independent consulting for small retailers and internet business endeavors. Kris has since completed her M.B.A. through Michigan State University. Armed with both a creative and business background, the creation of stylethread was a natural progression for her.

Although a native Michigander, Kris enjoys adventure and travels internationally frequently; observing trends, shopping, and generally having a spontaneous good time wherever she goes.

first post

With the aid of input from a thriving, style-conscious online community, stylethread was born. stylethread.com launched in December of 2004 as a forum, which quickly escalated in membership into the hundreds. By February of 2005, with advice and feedback from our fashion-savvy forum members, stylethread.com launched the first issue of our monthly e-zine, and we've been going strong and growing ever since.
stylethread strives to provide a community, or think tank, where style-conscious people from around the world can congregate to read, share ideas, ask questions, and learn how to make their life the stylish best it can be.
